PolyMoon is Relaunching!
As stated in the PolyMoon voice chat on July 4th, 2021, PolyMoon is re-launching with an improved token. In the meantime, DO NOT BUY OR SELL POLYMOON if you wish to receive the new token.
At the start of the voice chat, the team took a snapshot of all current holders and their token quantities. We will take a second snapshot before we pull liquidity so that those who do not wish to participate may sell their holdings.
If you purchased PolyMoon before 1700 (UTC) on July 4th, 2021, your transactions are included in the first snapshot. Any buys after this snapshot will NOT be eligible for the airdrop. The major reason for this decision is to prevent new investors from using PolyMoon to get early IDO access. The second snapshot will allow us to subtract sellers’ holdings from the airdrop.
Current holders do not need to take any extra steps to receive the new token. We will airdrop the new token to all eligible holders. Again, DO NOT BUY OR SELL if you wish to get an airdrop of the new token.
We will host a small IDO on our launchpad, @lightningprotocol, to raise additional liquidity, bring new users, and allow everyone to purchase more at a fair price. You must hold the necessary $LIGHT tokens to buy additional tokens in this IDO. To clarify, you do not need to hold any $LIGHT to receive the airdrop if you purchased PolyMoon before the first snapshot.
Airdrop quantities are determined by the proportion of PolyMoon holdings each investor holds between the two snapshots. This means that PolyMoon holders essentially participate in a “seed round” that usually precedes an IDO. Even if the current PolyMoon market cap decreases, it shouldn’t impact the airdrop amount.

Ultimately, this re-launch allows us to integrate Lightning and MoonCharts better, streamline branding, bring dedicated marketers on board, have a fresh start in a healthier market, and ensure the project remains successful in the long term. Additionally, it allows us to adopt new tokenomics that will better sustain market volatility and bitcoin crashes.
